Out-of-the-ordinary experiences such as picking your own fruit, farmers' markets, winery tours, festivals and fairs; hiking, rock climbing, hunting, fishing and horseback riding. An opportunity to take a back road and re-discover rural Arkansas! (7/14/08)

The Arts Council provides artistic enrichment throughout the county through visual arts, theater, music and dance. It brings in professional touring companies to perform Broadway musicals, variety and drama presentations. Administrative, technical and financial support is provided to the Community College Concert Series, Osceola Cultural Committee, Blytheville Junior Auxiliary, Mississippi County Black Cultural Association and the Blytheville Social Arts Club. It is also a partner in the Chamber Music Rural Residency in which local groups provide free monthly performances, workshops for school and community bands and private lessons.
Housed in the Ritz Civic Center, it supports a rich and varied program of offerings, cultivating home grown talent and bringing the community quality performers from around the nation.

The Blytheville owned, renovated movie theater is managed by the Arts Council of Mississippi County. It is home to the local community theater group, Act 2! and has a small gallery which features a different exhibit each month.
